Alexander Fuhrmann

I was born in 1955 in Romania. My qualifications include a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of Haifa in Israel and an MBA from the European University in Brussels. I am fluent in six languages and can execute training programs in English, Romanian and Hungarian.

After a number of executive positions with major multi-national companies I started my own training company, Amadeus Rom Consultants SRL, in 1995. In 2002 the Training and Organisational Development activity was taken over and continued by Eureka Training & Tests. Eureka is one of the major providers of high impact training and personnel development programs in Romania.

The programs I have developed for my clients focus on changing attitudes and on answering a basic question: How can we add wisdom to our leadership - how can we be wise managers? Put simply, this means finding solutions that are simple and easy to implement so that the teams that work on them are motivated, enthusiastic and committed to their success.

Occasionally I contribute to "Cariere" (a Romanian periodical for Human Resources Managers) and follow invitations to radio talk-shows or to be a guest speaker in Universities or corporate events. I also do community work with high-school students and teachers.

As a fairly eclectic reader with a rather inquisitive mind I work on becoming an educated layman in as many fields as I can. This is reflected in my seminars where I share with others the nuggets of knowledge and wisdom I discover. Add to this a fair amount of common sense, some humour and a massive amount of modesty - and you have, in a nutshell, the profile of one of the better trainers in Romania today.
